Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- 2–5 years behind the wheel of heavy-duty trucks
- Knowledge of DOT safety rules & road regulations
- Sit for long periods while driving
- Climb in/out of trucks and secure loads
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Work outdoors in all kinds of weather
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles
- Complete daily pre-trip & post-trip inspections
- Secure loads and ensure legal weight limits
- Follow scheduled routes and adjust when needed
- Fill out driver logs and trip reports accurately
- Stay in touch with dispatch on delays or updates
- Report vehicle issues to fleet maintenance
- Assist with loading/unloading when needed
- Follow DOT, safety, and environmental regulations
