About The Position
Qualicare Connecticut Shoreline is seeking compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our family as Companion/Homemakers. This role is essential in providing home care services that focus on enhancing the quality of life for our clients while offering peace of mind to their families. As a Companion/Homemaker, you will be part of a dedicated home care team, working under the supervision of the Care Coordinator. Your primary responsibility will be to perform various personal care services tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. This position is part-time, with shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours, allowing for flexibility in scheduling. You will have the opportunity to select your own shifts, making it easier to balance work with personal commitments. In this role, you will engage in meaningful interactions with clients, providing companionship and support as they navigate medical illnesses and age-related complications. Your contributions will not only help clients maintain their independence but also foster close relationships that enhance their overall well-being. Qualicare is committed to providing ongoing education and training through the QPath Career Pathways Program, ensuring that you have the resources and support needed to excel in your role. Additionally, you will be provided with personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety and that of the clients you serve.
