Requirements

• Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
• Must be able to bend, kneel, and walk throughout a shift
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. safely as part of assisting clients
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a Driver's License or State ID for employment verification
• Caregivers must have access to a cell phone for scheduling and communication purposes
• Must pass a criminal background check in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, auto insurance, and vehicle registration
• Must have a current TB test (can be completed after the interview)
• Punctuality and reliability are essential

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship, emotional support, and engaging conversation
• Assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• Supporting clients with dementia and Alzheimer's care
• Aiding with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and incontinence care
• Performing safe transfers using gait belts and Hoyer lifts (training available)
• Providing transportation for errands, medical appointments, and shopping trips
• Ensuring clients' safety, well-being, and comfort at all times
