About The Position
Experienced Caregivers Only | Consistent 7-Day Coverage No Place Like Home Senior Services is seeking a reliable, experienced caregiver for a long-term client in the Garner area (Wake County). This assignment is best suited for someone who is confident working independently, values consistency, and approaches care with patience, compassion, and professionalism. Schedule Weekdays: Split shifts Weekends: Evening shifts 7 days per week coverage required Consistent schedule available Required Environment Disclosure This assignment is in a hoarding household. Safety pathways are in place; however, the home is cluttered and not organized in a traditional manner. This is not a housekeeping or clean-out role. Caregivers must be comfortable providing care in this environment and able to maintain safety awareness at all times.
Requirements
- Prior professional caregiving experience required
- Comfortable with personal care and mobility support
- Able to work safely in a hoarding environment
- Patient, respectful, and non-judgmental
- Reliable, consistent, and punctual
- Able to follow agency policies and care plans
- Valid driver license is required
- Comfort working around small dogs is required
Responsibilities
- Companion care and meaningful engagement
- Fall-prevention support and mobility awareness
- Assistance with showering and hair washing
- Grocery shopping and essential errands
- Valid driver license is required; client does have a vehicle
- Appointment accompaniment
- Walking a small dog & helping care for it
