About The Position
Our Caregivers Bring Joy Every Day! At Assisting Hands Home Care, our Caregivers make a real difference by brightening the lives of others. They provide compassionate in-home support and help clients with daily activities that allow them to stay independent and comfortable in their own homes.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a caregiver (1+ year preferred)
- Reliable transportation, must have drivers license and valid car insurance
- Offering 4 - 8 - 12 hour shifts - Full or part time opportunities
- Do NOT apply if you are commuting from Chicago, IL. Local candidates only, please.
Responsibilities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and helping with laundry
- Prepare and serve meals
- Provides companionship and emotional support
- Reminders (medication, appointments, ect)
- Help client with personal care functions
- Provides occasional transportation for the client if needed
