Requirements

Minimum 1-year experience working in a home care setting
Must have valid NC Driver's License and Auto Insurance
Personal means of transportation
Good interpersonal skills
Must be very dependable
Must understand and respect client ethics and confidentiality of care

Responsibilities

Maintain the home in an optimum state of cleanliness and safety.
Provide light housekeeping tasks, including such duties as preparation of meals, laundry, shopping.
Provide companionship services, such as playing games, cards, reading, watching television and accompanying trips and on outings.
Report to the Service Supervisor any incidents or problems related to his or her work, immediately.
Report any unusual incidents or changes in the client's behavior to the Service Supervisor.
Follow the client's assigned plan of care.
Provide escort service such as accompanying the client to doctor's appointments and other errands.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Supervisor.
Aiding with activities of daily living
Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
Light housekeeping
Meal preparation
Providing companionship
