Comp Breakfast Attendant l Server Salary Range: $17.95- $18.00 per hour Position Summary The Complimentary Breakfast Attendant is responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and fulfilling various guest requests. This role ensures a pleasant dining experience by providing attentive, efficient service, promptly addressing guests' needs, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in the breakfast area. Additionally, the attendant may assist with setting up and replenishing the breakfast buffet, ensuring all items are fresh and available for guests.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant experience.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Good oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer questions about food and drinks, including ingredients, preparation, and accompanying items.
  • Greet newly seated guests in a friendly manner.
  • Take drink orders at guest greeting, deliver beverages, es and offer appetizers.
  • Merchandise menu items, such as appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
  • Ring up orders on P.O.S. quickly.
  • Follow alcohol-awareness procedures to prevent guest intoxication.
  • Attend to guests' needs when delivering food and check back to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain the table by checking drink levels, removing clutter, and providing extra napkins if necessary.
  • Total the bill and present the check upon removal of the last plate or upon request.
  • Maintain an accurate exchange of currency.
  • Keep the station clean.
  • Keep the immediate supervisor promptly and fully aware of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
  • Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the hotel, including, but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook.
  • The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands, and employees may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work.
