Community & Workforce Development Department is seeking three (3) skilled and compassionate Case Managers to provide critical direct support to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, housing instability, and imminent risk of eviction. These positions play a vital role in ensuring timely, effective delivery of rental assistance, utility assistance, eviction‑prevention services, and related services. Case Managers will provide urgent, empathetic client assistance through phone, email, online, and in‑person interactions. They will assess individual needs and connect clients with the appropriate resources, programs, and community resources. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, and a calm, professional approach to de‑escalating emotionally-charged situations in which clients may be facing homelessness. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong motivational interviewing skills, sound judgment, and the ability to guide clients toward stability and long‑term economic independence. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate client records, reviewing documentation for completeness, supporting program compliance, and collaborating with internal staff and external partners to maximize available resources. This is an opportunity to serve the community with compassion, urgency, and professionalism while contributing to a team dedicated to preventing homelessness and strengthening families throughout Pima County.
