About The Position

Establish and maintain relationships with re-entry, recovery, educational institutions, and community-based organizations to connect participants with available services. Additionally, provide support to individuals with various workforce resources to enhance their opportunities and address their specific needs.

Requirements

  • Experience in human services, sales, training, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deliver services within outpatient recovery settings.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Regional travel required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and reliable vehicle required.
  • Experience in Case Management.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and tracking data for reporting purposes

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with various agencies.
  • Collaborate with recovery service providers to deliver workforce services to outpatient participants.
  • Implement trauma-informed outreach and service delivery strategies in the community and facilities where individuals receive services.
  • Record all participant interactions accurately in the CWDS system of records.
  • Foster strong relationships with site contacts to ensure consistent communication of workforce system updates.
  • Recruit applicants through established outreach strategies, including satellite sites, job fairs, social service organizations, career events, schools, and other referral sources.
  • Conduct timely, accurate, and complete eligibility determinations for program applicants.
  • Stay informed about state and local guidelines and regulations.
  • Enroll participants in WIOA and Labor Exchange programs.
  • Disseminate information about programs to community-based organizations.
  • Communicate with internal departments to ensure smooth participant transitions to training and placement opportunities.
  • Facilitate workshops and schedule onsite presentations by community partners on various topics.
  • Develop collaborative strategies with staff to effectively work with agencies, educational institutions, and community-based organizations.
  • Meet weekly, monthly, and annual performance metrics.
  • Act as a liaison between departments to address customer needs.
  • Be flexible with scheduling, as adjustments may be required periodically.
  • Feel comfortable working with returning citizens and recovery participants.
  • Take on additional opportunities as they arise.
  • Assist reentry participants in navigating workforce resources, including job training, employment opportunities, and educational programs.
  • Implement informed practices to address the unique challenges faced by reentry participants.
  • Develop individualized employment plans to support the successful reintegration of participants into the workforce.
  • Maintain accurate records of participant progress and activities in the CWDS system.
  • Stay informed about laws, policies, and resources related to reentry and workforce reintegration.
  • Partner with local employers to create opportunities and advocate for the hiring of reentry participants.
  • Timely data tracking on internal systems to ensure accurate reporting to funders. This includes completing weekly direct reports and maintaining the daily master spreadsheet to track all customer engagements and services.
  • Host PA CareerLink® resource tables at community events, which may take place during regular work hours, evenings, or weekends.
  • Monitoring a caseload on a weekly basis through ongoing outreach, follow-up appointments, and providing job search guidance and recommendations.
