The Maine CDC Office of Injury and Violence Prevention (OIVP) is looking for a Health Program Manager to provide leadership for community violence prevention programs across Maine. This program will coordinate work creating protective environments, promoting healthy family relationships, connecting young people to caring adults, and strengthening skills in youth and young adults. This position will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of community violence prevention initiatives within Maine. This position requires a dynamic individual with expertise in public health programming, community engagement, and violence prevention. This position will collaborate with other state government offices and departments, community organizations, law enforcement, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain programs that reduce violence, enhance safety, and improve the well-being of communities throughout the state. It will also oversee community assessments and environmental scans to support coordination and collaboration.
