The Montgomery County Department of Parks is currently seeking a dynamic, creative, highly organized Community Therapeutic Recreation Intern. The internship experience must be a minimum of 560 hours (up to 37.5 hours per week) and span a minimum of 14 consecutive weeks. Interns will report directly to the Program Access Manager and receive guidance and supervision from additional staff in various stages of becoming Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists (CTRS). The internship will utilize the Therapeutic Recreation process as defined by the current NCTRC Job Analysis.
