About The Position

Crystal Springs, located in Assonet, MA, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual for the role of full-time Community Supporter . Available schedules include Monday to Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm or Monday to Friday from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm , allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while contributing meaningfully to our community. In your role as a Community Supporter, you will coordinate and oversee a variety of in-house and outdoor activities, with an emphasis on gymnasium and group events. You will develop and implement plans to utilize our playgrounds, gym, tree house, sensory room, and other facilities to their fullest potential. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a detailed calendar of events, coordinating all summer schedules, and ensuring the safety and engagement of our residents by obtaining necessary certifications such as Lifeguard, Pool Operator, and Special Olympics coach. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Capability to obtain and maintain Lifeguard and Pool Operator certifications
Ability to obtain and maintain certification as a Special Olympics coach
Ability to pass a van driving in-service
Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals in a habilitation or vocational setting

Nice To Haves

A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
At least one year of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities is also a plus!
