About The Position

We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Community Support Team - Substance Use Specialist to join our team full-time. This role is essential to our mission, providing therapy, crisis support, and service coordination for mental health clients in a variety of settings. As a Community Support Team - Substance Use Specialist with Carolina Outreach, you will conduct assessments and provide community-based therapy and case management to adults. May conduct initial assessments for clients with severe Substance Use Disorder symptoms and connect them with a higher level of care such as residential care, SAIOP, or SACOT services. Carolina Outreach, an ncgCARE partner, is a leading provider of community-based behavioral health services in North Carolina. As part of the ncgCARE network, we are dedicated to improving lives by delivering evidence-based mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults. Our comprehensive range of services include school-based therapy, outpatient treatment, psychiatric evaluations, community support, and substance use services. Compensation: This position is compensated using a piece rate model, where pay is based on the Relative Value Units (RVUs) assigned to each billable service. Each clinical service (e.g., individual therapy, group therapy, assessments) is assigned a specific RVU value, and your total compensation is determined by the number and type of services you deliver. Estimated income ranges: Associate Licensed: $36 - $37.50 Fully Licensed: $39.00 - $40.50 The ranges above are estimates based on productivity. Under this compensation model there is unlimited earning potential!

Requirements

  • LCAS or LCASA
  • Must have a Valid drivers license

Nice To Haves

  • Dually licensed is preferred but not required
  • PCP Experienced is Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assessment and reassessment of the client’s need for services
  • Informing the client about benefits, community resources, and services
  • Assisting the client in accessing benefits and services
  • Arranging for the client to receive benefits and services
