The Community Support Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting parents in the community throughout the duration of the 2024 bond, which is expected to last 2-3 years. This position works with the Growth and Decline Liaison and building leaders to support DCSD families and community members who are directly and indirectly impacted by bond initiatives, including the pairing of schools in Highlands Ranch and the opening of new schools in Sterling Ranch and RidgeGate. For the school pairing process, the specialist will work with leaders and serve as a district-level contact for families, ensuring maximum support for those impacted and proactively addressing concerns. The role also involves developing and promoting good community relations between the district, families, and community members. Hours will be variable as needed.
