About The Position

Legacy Behavioral Health is hiring individuals with a passion for making a difference in their community! We are seeking a Community Support Services (CSS) manager support our case management services in Lowndes, Cook, and Tift county. The Community Support Services (CSS) manager under the supervision of the Clinical Director of IDD and OP, the Community Support Services (CSS) manager will be responsible for assigned outpatient clinic (Lowndes, Tifton or Cook)community support services on day-to-day bases, to include youth and adult targeted case management, OP case management (CM), psychosocial rehabilitation for the individual (PSRI), addictive disease support services (ADSS) and community support for individual (CSI). In addition, on coordinating and facilitating community support services, position requires high level organizational skills and ability to multi-task efficiently. CSS manager must have good interpersonal skills and ability to support staff functions throughout training, coaching, and counselling. Position must have good understanding of regulatory requirements, billing practices and evidence-based practices for community support services provided for all age groups. Position will be expected to work with clinical leadership to create protocols, policies and maximize staff productivity. Close collaboration with entire treatment team is required. CSS manager will be expected to facilitate close relationships with other community providers and stakeholders and act as agency’s liaison with community agencies, advocating, promoting, and marketing LBH services. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology or another helping profession.
  • Previous health care related experience
  • Valid GA drivers’ license
  • Strong communication, time management, problem solving and critical thinking skills are necessary for personal and team success.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health services and quality assurance requirements for CSBs per DBHDD, DCH, CARF and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
  • Knowledge & understanding of basic health administration (including government regulations and patient privacy), financials (delivering quality healthcare within a budget), and clinical quality improvements (includes improving daily operations and meeting goals/objectives).

Nice To Haves

  • Certification or training in evidenced based practices (CT-R, MI, Seeking Safety, Connections Matter, etc.)
  • Master’s degree in helping profession

Responsibilities
