In a Direct Support role, you'll be joining compassionate individuals who provide daily support, assistance, and companionship to those in our community.

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Six months experience in providing care to people with developmental disabilities or direct support in a related field is preferred.
• Caring, compassionate, and dedicated individuals who are willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Interacting in the community while serving it.
• Assisting people with disabilities with all aspects of everyday living in their home and community.
• Teaching others life lessons through compassionate and caring acts.
• Teaching people with disabilities how to independently live a healthy and happy life in the community.
• Supporting people with disabilities to explore their community and interests.
• Being a positive role model to the people you assist, work with, and interact with in the community.
• Performing physical tasks such as standing, bending, kneeling, walking, and lifting up to 35 pounds.
