About The Position

The Center Director (Community Support Day Coordinator) is responsible for monitoring person-centered program plans for individuals receiving day support services and living in residential settings. The role includes training employees to implement these plans effectively, ensuring they meet the physical, social, and developmental needs of each individual while protecting their health, dignity, safety, comfort, well-being, and rights. The CSDC will oversee the organization and operation of services for individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in day center and supported living settings, working under limited supervision. The position requires direct supervision of Care Plan Coordinators and support for managers in daily operations. The CSDC will also act as a liaison and advocate for individuals, ensuring their involvement in various programs and activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health or Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities field or equivalent experience.
  • Four years' experience in the behavioral health field or Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience for staff with a bachelor's degree.
  • Two years' experience required for staff with a master's degree.
  • Qualifications for a Developmental Disabilities Professional.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Valid Drivers' License.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor staff performance management and conduct evaluations.
  • Supervise staff training and development related to Person-Centered Thinking.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures.
