About The Position
This is a non-sworn position that will be responsible for promptly and effectively carrying out routine Police Department service duties, which do not require the performance of a sworn Police Officer, and other limited code enforcement duties. This position responds to non-emergency calls that do not require a sworn Police Officer to respond. Community Service Officers assist by responding to traffic accidents, direct traffic, animal complaints, parking complaints, citizen calls. This position ensures cleanliness of sallyport, mudroom, and squad bag room.
