About The Position
The Anoka Community Service Officer II (CSO II) is responsible for various duties that include patrolling in a squad car or on foot, enforcing City ordinances related to animal complaints and park usage. The officer will manage department vehicles and maintain equipment, as well as manage the property/evidence room. Additionally, the CSO II will assist in the management and maintenance of the animal control facility, enforce parking regulations, and issue tickets. The role also involves assisting sworn Peace Officers when needed and performing other CSO type duties with an emphasis on Community Oriented issues.
