About The Position
Assist customers with public health services and referrals.
Requirements
- Graduation from a high school or equivalent (GED).
- Must have a current valid Texas motor vehicle operator's license.
- Must be able to be insured by the County's insurance carrier.
- Organizational and customer service skills required.
- Must have interpersonal skills to relate well to customers and other agency personnel.
- Ability to communicate effectively (bi-lingual preferred), and ability to train others.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a social service or health care agency or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists customers with public health and other health/social services.
- Provides relief for clinic clerical staff.
- Performs outreach to public health services.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
