BASIC FUNCTION: Under the guidance and oversight of the District Community Schools Coordinator, independently perform and accomplish highly technical administrative and staff duties related to the coordination and participation in collaborative leadership with their assigned community school, administrators, and school teams in the establishment and development of the Community Schools program pillars and structures; lead the work of identified staff.

  • An Associate's degree from an accredited institution in communications, social services, education, school counseling or a related field and five (5) years of recent, progressively responsible, related experience working with students and families in the TK-12 educational system or with organizations that serve school communities.
  • Your related education and experience must be clearly represented in the work history and education section of your application.
  • Experience in the establishment of community partnerships to support the development of comprehensive school systems and structures is highly preferred.
  • Positions greater than 20 hours per week qualify for District-paid health and wellness benefits for the employee and their eligible dependents.
  • Bilingual positions qualify for a 5% bilingual differential.
