About The Position

Responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing strategies for multi-disciplinary team to support the success of the community schools initiative. Responsible for administrative and management of a Community Schools site and supervision of program staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A/BS.) in human service field; or related field.
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must have flexibility with regard to schedule to to allow for time for evening and/or weekend activities.
  • Strong working knowledge of computers and applications.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated competency in program growth and development.
  • Strong interpersonal management, and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of community resources.
  • Ability to form professional helping relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must have valid driver’s license, which meets the requirements of the agency’s insurance carrier and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters Degree, desirable.
  • Previous supervisory experience and strong knowledge base in program areas, desirable
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate and implement strategies for multi-disciplinary team.
  • Provide program site services including: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and advocacy to meet school and community needs.
  • Plan and facilitate community schools offerings for students, parents, and community members.
  • Budgeting and fiscal accountability.
  • Implement program operations through policies and procedures, goals and objectives.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary team implementation of evidence- based best and promising practices.
  • Prepare and maintain timely documentation, reports and records in accordance with agency, state accreditation, and other requirements.
  • Collaborate with community members, school principal, faculty and participating public/private agencies in support of students and their families.
  • Develop partnerships, coordinate and advise partners, and facilitate a school advisory board for the community school.
  • Ensure timely submission of all regular or required reports, regular collection and reporting of program data as required to support CFF PQI and project evaluation processes.
  • Implement program operations in keeping with CFF and program’s policies and procedures, goals and objectives.
  • Implement and monitor program/contract utilization, and staff productivity.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsible for supervision, evaluation, and development of staff.
  • Develop leadership and team building.
  • Participate in interviewing candidates and hiring staff.
  • Supervise student interns and volunteers, as assigned
  • Respond appropriately to the cultural differences present among the agency’s service population.
  • Maintain agency standards regarding confidentiality and quality.
  • Serve on staff committees as assigned and/or approved.
