About The Position

The Community Sales Manager in Training (CSMT) position at Taylor Morrison is designed for individuals eager to develop their sales skills in the home buying industry. This role provides comprehensive training to ensure that all new hires master the company's sales techniques and product offerings, regardless of their prior experience. The training program can last from two weeks to a full year, depending on the individual's background and abilities. The CSMT will learn about the company's homes and communities, sales techniques, customer relationship management, and will shadow experienced sales managers to gain practical insights.

Requirements

  • Active Real Estate License required (where applicable by state).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft software applications (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Internet Explorer).
  • High level of organizational and documentation skills.
  • Customer service oriented with a focus on prioritizing customer needs.
  • Ability to be flexible and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in training sessions to gain knowledge about homes and communities.
  • Learn to use finance as a sales tool and understand sales purchase agreements.
  • Utilize CRM as a prospecting tool and manage community effectively.
  • Shadow experienced Community Sales Managers to observe best practices.
  • Complete assigned reading materials and online courses to enhance sales skills.
  • Articulate product/service value propositions to potential customers.
  • Learn various sales techniques including prospecting, presenting solutions, and closing deals.
  • Practice effective communication and active listening skills.
  • Develop negotiation skills to secure favorable outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and follow up with prospects.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track interactions and manage accounts.
  • Participate in regular performance evaluations and set personal development goals.
