About The Position

Wartburg is seeking a high-performing, results-driven Community Sales Director to lead the census-development efforts for our premier Assisted Living (Meadowview) and Memory Support (Berkemeier) neighborhoods. This is a critical leadership role responsible for orchestrating the entire sales funnel—from strategic business development and professional referral networking to closing high-value contracts. The ideal candidate is a "closer" with a sophisticated understanding of the senior living landscape, capable of navigating complex family dynamics and medical referral networks to maintain maximum occupancy and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field is required.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of proven success in senior living sales, healthcare business development, or high-end luxury real estate sales.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding $1M+ annual sales quotas and maintaining high occupancy rates in a competitive market.
  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of CRM software (e.g., Enquire, Sherpa, or Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, public speaking, and empathetic communication skills. Must be adept at "closing" while maintaining a high standard of ethics and care.

  • An MBA or related Master’s degree is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue & Census Growth: Drive the sales process to consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets and occupancy goals.
  • Strategic Business Development: Identify, cultivate, and manage high-level relationships with key referral sources, including hospital systems, specialized physicians, estate planners, and elder law attorneys.
  • Consultative Selling: Lead highly personalized tours, home visits, and hospital assessments; utilize advanced discovery techniques to address the unique needs of prospective residents and their families.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and market research to position Wartburg as the provider of choice in the region.
  • CRM Management: Maintain 100% database integrity within the CRM, utilizing data-driven insights to manage the pipeline and execute creative, personalized "next steps" for high-intent leads.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Wartburg at executive-level networking events and civic leadership meetings to enhance the community's reputation.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the Administrator and Clinical teams to ensure seamless care assessments and financial vetting for a smooth transition of new residents.
