About The Position

Brightview Senior Living is expanding in New Jersey with the upcoming Brightview East Brunswick community, set to open in late 2027. This role is for the third and final Sales Director to join the team. The Community Sales Director is the initial point of contact for future residents and their families, responsible for conveying Brightview's vision, mission, and vibrant organizational culture. The sales team operates on split schedules to provide coverage seven days a week and may require hosting or attending events outside of typical business hours. This position involves educating the community about Brightview's services and value, building relationships with seniors and their families interested in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Enhanced Care, or Memory Care, and guiding them through the move-in process. The role encompasses all aspects of marketing, including networking, pre-lease activities, sales, advertising, public relations, community events, and fostering strong relationships with local healthcare providers. Effective communication is crucial to ensure resident expectations are met and exceeded, making the community feel like home.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Previous healthcare/senior living sales experience
  • Ability to perform community outreach, generate leads, overcome opposition to generate sales
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong customer orientation to older adults
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English

Responsibilities

  • Convey Brightview's vision, mission, and vibrancy to prospective residents and the community
  • Provide sales coverage 7 days a week, potentially including hosting or attending events outside of typical business hours
  • Educate the general community about the services and value of Brightview
  • Build personal relationships with seniors and their families looking to move into Independent, Assisted Living, Enhanced care, or Memory care
  • Act as a guide through the move-in process for prospective residents and families
  • Be involved in all aspects of marketing for the community, including networking, pre-lease, sales, advertising, public relations and community events
  • Build strong relationships with the surrounding community of health care providers
  • Assure that all expectations are met or exceeded to make residents' lives Vibrant and the community feel like home
