About The Position

THERAPY 2000, a home-based provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Community Relations Representative (Marketer) to support growth in our Austin Division. This role will focus on strengthening referral partnerships, increasing market presence, and aligning referral volume with growing therapist capacity across the southern Austin territory, including: 📍 New Braunfels 📍 San Marcos 📍 Seguin 📍 Kyle / Buda 📍 Lockhart 📍 Luling 📍 Wimberley 📍 Bastrop The Community Relations Representative is responsible for developing and managing strategic referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, case managers, outpatient facilities, and outsourced referral coordinators. This is a high-impact role designed to increase referral volume, strengthen brand presence, and support therapist utilization within a high-growth region. The position works collaboratively with the Regional Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing, Division Leadership, and Clinical Teams.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel daily within assigned territory
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare services preferred
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environment
  • Experience with creating marketing materials
  • Knowledge of how to increase agency branding in the community

Nice To Haves

  • a licensed healthcare professional with a Bachelor’s degree (Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred)
  • 2+ years healthcare marketing, medical sales, or provider relationship experience
  • Strong understanding of physician referral dynamics and healthcare systems
  • Pediatric or home health background
  • Experience working with outsourced referral coordination models
  • Existing relationships within the New Braunfels / San Marcos healthcare community

Responsibilities

  • Territory & Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong working relationships with physicians and referral sources across assigned territory
  • Identify, target, and prioritize high-value referral accounts
  • Conduct consistent in-person office visits to strengthen engagement and increase referral conversion
  • Engage decision-makers to align services and secure referral commitments
  • Strategic Growth & Market Development Execute focused territory growth plans aligned with therapist capacity
  • Analyze referral trends and adjust strategy to improve performance
  • Promote specialty certifications, clinical programs, and therapist expertise to differentiate Therapy 2000
  • Strengthen collaboration with outsourced referral coordinators and hospital-based case management teams
  • Communication & Collaboration Maintain physician profiles and relevant account documentation
  • Partner with Referral Coordinators to support smooth intake processes
  • Facilitate clinical-level discussions between providers and Therapy 2000 clinicians when appropriate
  • Provide territory insights and performance updates to division leadership
  • Compliance Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations governing home-based pediatric therapy services
  • Represent Therapy 2000 professionally and ethically at all times
