About The Position

The Community Relations Manager at Cortland Bayport is responsible for enhancing the living experience of residents in multifamily apartment communities. This role involves leading resident services initiatives, managing business operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations. The manager acts as a liaison between residents and the community, focusing on customer satisfaction and community engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry/customer service experience required.
• 3+ years of Property Management experience preferred.
• Experience in sales and customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in an organized manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Funnel, OneSite, and RealPage applications.
• Flexibility to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of courtesy and respect for residents.
• Assist the multi-site Community Manager in leading daily activities and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Perform regular community inspections, including move-in and move-out inspections.
• Inspect the property for policy violations and needed repairs, resolving concerns in a timely manner.
• Manage and maintain vendor relationships.
• Assist with resident needs such as move-out notices and service requests.
• Monitor resident satisfaction levels and ensure expectations are met.
• Process in-person rental payments and deliver notices to residents as needed.
• Review performance management dashboards to track key community metrics.
• Establish and manage marketing programs and social media presence.
• Guide the team in creating resident experience programs and event strategies.
