The Community Relations Director at Anchor Health is responsible for facilitating patient admissions to Hospice through marketing and educational activities. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals and community organizations to promote Anchor Health's services and the philosophy of hospice care.

  • Generate business by creating new and maintaining existing relationships with physicians and other medical professionals, community and senior organizations, hospitals, and other potential referral sources.
  • Prepare and conduct calls and in-service presentations to potential referral sources.
  • Participate in community and organizational programs, making presentations to facilitate a broader knowledge of the Hospice philosophy.
  • Promote an atmosphere that allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all patients.
  • Promote positive public relations with patients, family members, and healthcare providers.
  • Serve as a resource both internally and externally, supporting the mission and vision of the organization.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Experience in marketing, preferably in a hospice or healthcare environment.
  • Clinical liaison experience (LVN or RN) with strong marketing skills preferred but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to create own leads.
  • Organized approach to territory management and ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Ability to meet and exceed monthly goals.
  • Proven track record and strong community contacts preferred.
