About The Position

The Community Relations Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Community Relations in maintaining maximum occupancy of the community and developing a waiting list of future residents. This role involves maintaining accurate records in the database for easy access and reporting, and ensuring that The Bristal's reputation is well presented within the community. The position requires a full-time schedule, including one weekend shift per week, typically from Tuesday to Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
  • Ability to 'close' the deal.
  • Professional image.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all visitors in a warm, friendly manner.
  • Answer telephones in a professional manner to obtain information about the caller.
  • Team with the Director of Community Relations and the Executive Director to create an effective resident referral program.
  • Take prospective residents and/or families on a tour of the facility.
  • Understand the REPS system and maintain an active prospects database.
  • Act as a liaison between The Bristal and community referral sources.
  • Make a minimum of 20 outgoing calls per day to prospective residents and families.
  • Regularly follow up with referral sources, allocating two half days of outreach per week.
  • Complete all required move-in paperwork and collect rent prior to resident move-in.
  • Assist new residents in acclimating to the community upon moving in.
  • Manage all marketing inventory as directed.
  • Assist in creating and/or hosting marketing/sales events.
  • Network frequently with outside referral sources.
  • Attend SUN (Senior Umbrella Network) and one additional local Community Association each month to attain new leads.
  • Assist in overseeing the accuracy of available apartment inventory.
  • Maintain weekly traffic and census reports.
  • Complete a weekly outreach report when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Community Relations and the Executive Director.
