About The Position

Responsible for evaluating, developing, implementing, and coordinating resident admissions and marketing processes according to statutory, regulatory, and Community policies. Using a strong hospitality focus, implements various admission-generating activities including networking with potential referral sources, creating and maintaining relationships with community organizations, and coordinating regularly scheduled and special event planning.

Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in admissions and/or marketing preferably in a health care or senior services community.
  • Knowledge of a variety of insurance regulations including Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience in Contact Management Software and Electronic Medical Records systems applicable to the job.
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

  • Receive inquiries regarding admission into the Community and organization and dispense information about the services and mission to relevant parties.
  • Provide appropriate follow-up to inquiries made by prospective residents and families.
  • Create and foster relationships within the outside community by calling on potential referral sources, networking with local churches and their senior groups, and meeting with discharge planners.
  • Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to meet defined move-in objectives, census, and sales goals.
  • Participate in event planning within the Community and external events.
  • Coordinate and schedule admissions and in-house move-ins and move-outs with all related departments.
  • Coordinate paperwork, records, and files relating to current and prospective residents.
  • Present and explain admission packet to residents and family members, ensuring paperwork process is accurate and completed on a timely basis.
  • Conduct tours of the Community as needed for all interested parties and potential residents.
  • Coordinate assessment of potential admissions and communicate assessment results with relevant parties.
  • Ensure timely admission of residents to maintain cash flow and census.
  • Participate in surveys and other inspections made by authorized governmental agencies; comply with statutory and regulatory standards.
  • Lead and model collaborative and supportive behaviors between and among all Community teams, CLC business entities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
