As a Community Referred Associate at Marshalls, you will play a vital role in delivering a highly satisfying customer experience. This position requires engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying the principles of customer experience, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards, ensuring that the store operates smoothly and efficiently. The role may also involve cross-training to work in multiple areas of the store to support the business's needs effectively. Your responsibilities will include role modeling established customer experience practices with both internal and external customers, supporting a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect. You will accurately ring customer purchases and returns, ensuring that change is counted back to customers according to established operating procedures. Maintaining and upholding the merchandising philosophy and following established procedures and standards will be crucial in this role. You will also be responsible for processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor, participating in store recovery as needed throughout the day, and maintaining organizational cleanliness and recovery standards for the sales floor. In addition to these tasks, you will provide and accept ongoing recognition and constructive feedback, adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, and communicate effectively with management and associates. Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs, as well as participating in safety awareness to maintain a risk-free environment, will also be part of your responsibilities.
