About The Position

Beach Front Property Management is looking for a driven and customer-focused Property Manager to help oversee day-to-day operations of a residential community in Hawthorne. This is a great opportunity for an experienced assistant or property manager seeking flexible hours, hands-on responsibility, and the rare benefit of substantially discounted onsite housing. Requirements

  • Property management experience (Assistant Manager or Manager level)
  • Working knowledge of Fair Housing and landlord/tenant basics
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Clear and professional written communication skills
  • Basic technology proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Yardi Voyager
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly property operations
  • Support the Regional Property Supervisor with overall performance and compliance
  • Market the property, lease vacant units, and maintain strong occupancy
  • Ensure units are pre-leased and vacancies are filled within 30 days
  • Maintain compliance with Fair Housing laws and all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Process rent, invoices, and financial transactions in Yardi Voyager
  • Monitor rent rolls and delinquency reports daily
  • Prepare and serve required notices, including 3-day notices
  • Professionally address resident concerns and enforce lease terms
  • Conduct property inspections and ensure make-ready units are completed within 3–5 business days
  • Coordinate and follow up on maintenance work orders
  • Submit required reports (including monthly market surveys)
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and assist with on-call or emergency needs as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
