Job Objective: To assist in the development and implementation of community outreach programs, children’s programs, and facility operations Essential Functions: Assist in the implementation and facilitation of community programs Assist with the implementation of summer day camps Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and snacks Assist with Harvester deliveries Perform Christmas duties as assigned Participate in youth leadership training and mentorship activities Maintain facility cleanliness and perform other general facility upkeep duties The Salvation Army Mission: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church.   • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience: Minimum one year working with people of all ages and backgrounds in a structured program setting
  • Ability to relate to children and adults and exhibit a positive leadership example
  • Ability to participate in physical recreation activities
  • Ability to work independently and on a set schedule
  • Ability to perform duties reliable and timely
  • Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Driving is required. This position requires a valid driver's license from the state in which the employee resides. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business.
