At National Horizon, we don't just manage properties—we elevate them. We are seeking a Grounds Porter to join our team at a large-scale community in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area. The Grounds Porter plays an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, curb appeal, and overall appearance of the property. This position is ideal for a reliable, hardworking individual who takes pride in creating welcoming and well-maintained community spaces.
Requirements
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, janitorial, or maintenance roles preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and property appearance.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Dependable, punctual, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks on a daily basis.
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain community grounds, including picking up trash, cleaning common areas, and ensuring walkways and amenities are kept in top condition.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks and work orders as directed by the Service Team.
- Report safety hazards, repair needs, and property concerns promptly.
- Support make-ready and turnover processes by assisting with unit cleaning and exterior upkeep.
- Ensure pool, parking areas, and community amenities are clean, safe, and resident-ready.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the property in a professional manner.
