Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Urban Planning, Community Planning or related field.
  • Valid Driver's License issued by the state of residency

Responsibilities

  • Assists planning staff in the following areas: preparing for meetings; working on long-range planning; special projects; development review tasks; collecting and assembling data; preparing reports, maps, and graphics to support planning and policy development.
  • Participates in planning teams and assists planning staff in identifying planning needs, preparing proposals and evaluating new tools, innovations and technology for application in planning projects.
  • Assists planning staff to develop and utilize applications to improve public involvement, promote collaboration, and build consensus.
  • Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other related duties
