About The Position

Works collaboratively to develop new relationships and clinical populations to meet the programmatic and performance goals. Works collaboratively across diverse clinical teams to facilitate clinical, operational and financial programmatic elements and relationships; demonstrates deep understanding and compliance with regulations and payment systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Current Emergency Medical Technician Certification in New York State, or Current Paramedic Certification in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
  • 3-5 years of technical experience, required.

Responsibilities

  • Works collaboratively across departments/service lines to facilitate management of paramedic program and population needs.
  • Develops and/or refines orientation processes, quality assurance processes, clinical and operational workflows, data collection, documentation, research, staff credentialing, reporting, budgets, and other program needs.
  • Collaborates with management teams in program development, expansion, problem resolution, and strategic planning/implementation.
  • Oversees development, measurement, reporting and implementation of process and outcome measures.
  • Works to optimize workflows and processes in order to achieve these measure standards and to continuously improve staff, system performance, financial performance, provider and patient satisfaction performance, clinical quality and population health performance.
  • Builds alliances and relationships with key stakeholders in order to facilitate a shared vision, mission and goals that meet programmatic aims.
  • Works collaboratively across diverse stakeholder groups to expand opportunities.
  • Works with staff to communicate program needs and results, gather input for improvement, improve staff engagement and satisfaction and to promote Community Paramedicine across the enterprise.
  • Prioritize tasks, adhere to deadlines and provide status updates on assigned projects.
