About The Position

The Community Outreach & Engagement Specialist at Clinica Sierra Vista plays a vital role in planning, developing, and executing strategic community outreach campaigns that align with the organization's core values. Requirements

  • BA/BS in Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Administration, Behavioral Sciences, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in community outreach, public relations, or marketing preferred.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media best practices and technologies.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills; Spanish speaking and writing is a strong plus.
  • Valid California driver's license and means to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Independently coordinate and manage both internal and external outreach and community events, overseeing logistics and managing registrations.
  • Contribute to the brand's social media strategy by developing relevant content and scheduling posts to ensure community engagement.
  • Participate in the coordination of photo and video shoots to highlight the organization's community outreach efforts.
  • Promote brand uniformity within CSV programs and services, ensuring brand guidelines are enforced for external audiences.
  • Maintain a directory and inventory of collateral and promotional materials, ensuring accuracy and currency.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a master event calendar for community outreach and engagement activities.
  • Utilize project and task management systems to track work deliverables.
  • Collaborate with department leads and staff to ensure community outreach projects are executed effectively.
  • Field concerns from the public and stakeholders regarding programs and services.
  • Identify sponsorship opportunities to enhance Clinica Sierra Vista's brand in the community.
  • Comfortably conduct interviews on camera and radio to promote CSV programs and events.
