About The Position
Plan, direct, lead and oversee the more complex and difficult work of program development within an assigned division; coordinate services with outside agencies and the community and perform a variety of administrative and technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility. This position will be based at an emergency shelter for people experiencing homelessness, either the existing 400 bed shelter on the far west side of town or the Gateway Center which is still in the development phases. This position will be embedded in the shelter and will provide oversight and support to the agencies the city contracts with who are providing direct services to shelter guests. Interaction with shelter guests may be required.
