About The Position
The Community Outreach and Partnerships Manager is a key ambassador for Feeding San Diego, responsible for expanding our visibility, deepening community engagement, managing outreach volunteers, and fostering meaningful partnerships that support our mission to connect every person facing hunger with nutritious meals by maximizing food rescue. This role cultivates relationships with Feeding San Diego partners, associations, and alliances, chambers of commerce, and other key stakeholders to drive awareness and support for Feeding San Diego initiatives. Additionally, this position represents Feeding San Diego at community events, speaking engagements, and networking opportunities, identifying strategic collaborations that enhance our reach and impact. The ideal candidate is a dynamic relationship-builder with a passion for community service, capable of effectively engaging diverse audiences and managing a team of volunteers and translating connections into lasting partnerships that advance Feeding San Diego’s mission.
