About The Position
The Community Organizer will work under the supervision of the Statewide Lead Community Organizer to build a base of directly impacted community members. The role focuses on establishing an active committee to effectively organize campaigns aimed at achieving racial and economic justice, particularly for Black and Latino low-income communities in Harris County, TX. The organizer will engage in grassroots efforts to address issues such as housing access, criminal justice reform, and immigration justice.
