About The Position
The Community Nutrition Specialist will provide comprehensive nutrition services to participants in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, offering counseling, and developing/implementing personalized nutrition care plans for pregnant and postpartum women, children, and families. Other work includes referrals to community resources and maintaining accurate documentation to support WIC families. The WIC program operates at the Government Center in Stillwater, with additional service centers in Cottage Grove, Forest Lake, and a future location in Woodbury. Limited remote work may be available. The Community Nutrition Specialist will also contribute to clinic support duties based on skills, experience, and program needs.
