Wells Fargo is seeking a Community Mortgage Bank Sales Consultant (SAFE) in Consumer Lending as part of Home Lending. In this role, you will sit within assigned bank branches and originate mortgage loans. You will collaborate with branch leadership, participate in branch huddles, mentor and coach employees to increase knowledge of mortgage products and processes. You will conduct outbound calls to existing and prospective customers regarding mortgage loan products and complete associated tracking activities. Interacting with customers to understand their needs and providing them with high-quality customer service is essential. You will process loan applications for mortgage transactions and review rates and terms within guidelines, maintaining a high standard of client satisfaction and quality by ensuring timely and proactive customer communication. Continuous pursuit of Wells Fargo training offerings to increase knowledge of company products, policies and procedures, and underwriting requirements is expected. You will adhere to policies, underwriting requirements, compliance requirements, and loan procedures, collaborating with fulfillment partners to meet the needs of clients throughout the origination process. Staying informed of mortgage industry trends and developments in the assigned market and developing and maintaining a high degree of visibility for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the marketplace is also part of your responsibilities. This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction, requiring compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations.
