About The Position

The Community Marketing Director at Southern New Hampshire Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is responsible for cultivating relationships with community organizations to drive referrals and admissions. This role involves representing the center at community events, analyzing trends, and executing marketing strategies to enhance community engagement and service visibility.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years in a related Admissions or Business Development position within long-term care or related healthcare setting.
  • College Degree preferred.
  • Sales experience, particularly in health care services, products, or pharmaceuticals is desirable.
  • Familiarity with long-term care and/or health care services is useful.
  • Previous health care community relations experience is required.
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency, self-motivation, and goal orientation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as admission/marketing responsibilities may dictate.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivates relationships with community organizations that yield referrals and admissions.
  • Represents the center in the community at targeted events.
  • Facilitates and holds a minimum of two monthly targeted community events.
  • Analyzes referral and admission trends to determine weekly outreach and monthly sales planning goals.
  • Leads and coordinates monthly support groups that align with center specialty focuses.
  • Drafts and executes a Community monthly business plan.
  • Identifies and coordinates advertising opportunities for the community.
  • Leads the team in identifying opportunities to showcase center services, community engagement, testimonials, and consumer satisfaction on social media channels.
  • Maintains an active LinkedIn presence in representation of center services and community engagement.
  • Meets and exceeds budgeted census expectations from community contacts such as Assisted Living and Home Care.
  • Maintains a networking base in the community through health fairs, job fairs, trade shows, and local association meetings as requested.
  • Works in tandem with the Admissions Director in the development of the community marketing plan.
  • Acts as a liaison with Agencies on Aging and Care Managers for community-based senior assistance programs.
  • Follows up and communicates with potential clients/applicants regularly until they have converted.
  • Participates in evening and weekend events as needed.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all applicants, employees, clients, and residents.
  • Responsible for social media updates, pictures, promoting events, and obtaining reviews.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
