About The Position

We are looking for a highly experienced Community Manager with a proven background in large-scale, institutional multifamily operations. This role requires prior direct management experience of a 250–400+ unit garden-style, preferably gated community. We are specifically targeting candidates coming from established institutional property management. This is not a stepping-stone role or a promotion opportunity for an Assistant Manager. The candidate must already be operating at this level. The Community Manager will have full operational control of the asset and will directly oversee: · 1 Assistant Manager · 2 Leasing Consultants · 1 Maintenance Supervisor · 3 Maintenance Technicians · 1 Porter They must be comfortable managing both the administrative and maintenance sides of the operation. We need a hands-on, operationally strong leader who: · Actively manages delinquency and collections · Reviews and approves all new lease files and renewals · Oversees renewal strategy and occupancy performance · Walks the property daily and maintains strict curb appeal standards · Supervises preventive maintenance programs · Manages budget performance and expense control · Holds staff accountable and drives performance This role requires someone detail-oriented, structured, and comfortable enforcing policies.

Requirements

  • Direct experience managing 250+ units
  • Bilingual English/ Spanish
  • Experience in garden-style multifamily
  • Experience supervising a full on-site team
  • Strong delinquency control background
  • Stable employment history
