The Role The Community Manager is a relationship-driven, field-based role focused on building long-term partnerships with HOAs, gated communities, golf and country clubs, senior living communities, first responder organizations, and local groups across Lee County. This position is not door-to-door sales and not a call-center role . Instead, you’ll create opportunities for homeowners to learn about standby generators through trusted community relationships, educational events, and local outreach programs—working closely with our sales team to ensure strong follow-through. If you’ve managed a territory, built professional relationships, run events, and tracked your work in a CRM, this role is designed for you.

Requirements

  • Candidates may come from one of several relationship-driven backgrounds: HOA, property management, or real estate sales Community relations or nonprofit development Field marketing or territory-based outreach Senior living, healthcare outreach, or membership organizations B2B or B2C relationship-focused roles
  • Successful candidates typically demonstrate: Professional communication and confidence in community settings Strong planning, organization, and event coordination skills Ease in building rapport, especially with older homeowners Comfort managing a territory and structuring their own weekly plan Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and basic marketing tools A service-first mindset that matches our Always On brand promise
  • Additional candidate requirements include: Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation Ability to travel throughout Fort Myers regularly Ability to lift and transport event materials (approximately 30–40 lbs) Employment may be contingent on a standard background and driving record check Occasional evening or weekend events (dependent on partner availability for us to host/attend an event)

Responsibilities

  • Build Meaningful Community Relationships Engage 6 to 8 new HOAs, clubs, or organizations per month during initial ramp, building toward a healthy portfolio of 40 to 50 active partners by year one.
  • Develop relationships with HOA boards, property managers, golf course GMs, senior community directors, first responder groups, and veterans organizations.
  • Introduce PSP as a trusted generator specialist partner, always aligning to community culture and communication norms.
  • Navigate solicitation rules by coordinating approved talks, newsletters, vendor programs, and community events.
  • Plan and Execute High-Value Local Events Coordinate 3 to 4 events per month, including clubhouse talks, senior expos, golf tournaments, educational sessions, and community gatherings.
  • Manage invitations, RSVPs, logistics, setup, materials, signage, and event flow.
  • Partner with Power Consultants who serve as the on-site specialists for homeowner education and appointment creation.
  • Ensure every event reflects our core values and brand promise.
  • Activate Local Marketing Programs Execute targeted direct mail campaigns to priority neighborhoods Coordinate installation-based visibility such as yard signs and post-appointment door hangers Support telemarketing outreach in alignment with community engagement plans Maintain accurate records of community activity, rules, and preferences in CRM systems
  • Support the Homeowner Journey Work with Power Consultants to identify the communities they support and ensure clear expectations for events and follow-up Provide structured event recaps, lead lists, and insights to strengthen sales follow-through Represent PSP in a way that builds trust and reinforces our expertise and commitment to long-term partnership
  • Collaborate & Report Provide clear event recaps, insights, and lead handoffs to the sales team Maintain accurate CRM records for partners, events, and outcomes Share insights to help improve community strategy over time
