Requirements

  • Must live near Escondido, CA, with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Minimum 40 hours per week onsite; occasional after-hours or emergency response required
  • 2+ years as a Community/Property Manager
  • 3+ years of multifamily property management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in Yardi
  • Professional appearance and adherence to dress code
  • Strong ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, and multitask with urgency
  • Flexibility with work schedule as needed
  • English fluency

Responsibilities

  • Manage all daily property operations, including but not limited to:
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training staff (as applicable)
  • Supervising office and maintenance teams
  • Conducting regular team meetings to train, guide, and review performance
  • Fostering a positive, motivational, and safe work environment
  • Conducting performance reviews as needed
  • Monitoring property appearance and curb appeal
  • Managing rent collections
  • Ensuring timely, accurate completion of work orders and unit turns
  • Assisting with development of annual budgets and monthly variance reports
  • Preparing operational reports as required
  • Maintaining high occupancy and market-appropriate rental rates
  • Promoting strong resident satisfaction and a positive community reputation
