About The Position

CIRC, an affiliate of Transforming Age, has a rewarding opportunity for a Community Manager to join our team! We currently have an immediate opening for a HUD/LIHTC experienced full-time Community Manager for two properties in Bellevue, WA. This individual is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all property operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable working individually and with a team and who enjoys creating community amongst their Residents. About CIRC: CIRC, formed in 2021, owns and operates 11 communities on the East Side of King County. We are committed to providing sustainable, affordable housing through the tax credit program and other funding sources. In addition, we provide resident support through our Resident Services Coordinators and Program Managers.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years prior property management experience (Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager)
  • Affordable housing experience: HUD, tax credit, USDA, Section 8
  • Familiarity and ability to comply with State, City and Federal requirements pertaining to tax credit, low-income or HUD affordable housing.
  • Familiarity and ability to comply with the Washington State Residential Landlord & Tenant Act and other State, City, County and Federal regulations as well as the Fair Housing Act.
  • Experience with property management software platforms (Boston Post or Yardi for example), as well as O365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities, including tact, maturity, and flexibility
  • Must possess independent judgment and discretion
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, solid presentation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, including high resident and employee satisfaction
  • Maintain flexibility with schedule and have ability to be “on-call” for community emergencies
  • Adapts to changing business needs, conditions, and work responsibilities
  • Must have valid driver license
  • Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
