We have a need for an individual with commitment, drive and a passion for excellence, along with prior experience in residential property management and operations, to join our award-winning property management team as a Community Manager for our luxury rental property The Upton, Short Hills, NJ. Our Operations team is accountable for effectively managing and coordinating team members, activities, and available resources in order to accomplish property goals & financial objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum (3) years recent experience in residential property management
  • Minimum (2) years in a supervisory capacity
  • NJ Real Estate License required
  • Proven ability in providing exceptional resident relations and services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
  • Proven proficiency level in Microsoft Word, Excel (formulas) and Outlook
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations/guidelines
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Yardi experience preferred
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment
  • Well-organized in a fast-paced environment successfully multi-task; work independently and meet multiple deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of annual budgets and ancillary reports
  • Management of property operations within approved budget
  • Analyzing variances and initiating corrective action
  • Hire, train, motivate & supervise on-site team members
  • Ensure accuracy in preparation & review of property data/reporting
  • Enhance resident retention through provision of phenomenal customer service
  • Coordination of work orders and move ins/move outs with the Maintenance Department
  • Marketing and leasing of the property
  • Communication with residents, vendors & contractors
