Community Manager

Waypoint Management is seeking a Community Manager to lead our high-end luxury community in Port Saint Lucie, FL. This role is pivotal in orchestrating legendary service stories for our residents and ensuring a referral-worthy living experience. As a Community Manager, you will oversee all phases of the prospect and resident lifecycle, addressing resident concerns, managing property repairs, and resolving disputes. You will foster collaborative relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other communities while cultivating a strong partnership with your onsite team. Your leadership will ensure that both back and front of house operations run seamlessly, with a focus on excellence. In addition to operations management, you will play a crucial role in talent development. You will recruit, coach, and lead a high-performing team of leasing and maintenance professionals, inspiring them to exceed business goals. Your networking skills will help cultivate a strong bench of potential future candidates. Financial management is another key aspect of this role, where you will maximize the property's financial performance through effective collections, revenue growth strategies, and resident retention programs. You will participate in the annual budgeting process and manage capital expenditure plans, ensuring timely and accurate performance and financial reporting. Marketing is also a significant responsibility, as you will work with your team to create and execute strategic marketing plans to attract and retain residents. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of the local rental market and economic factors affecting occupancy will be essential, as will regularly shopping other properties to stay informed about competition. This position requires a self-starter who can work independently and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
