About The Position

The Community Manager will have a proven track record of successfully managing multifamily properties, including HUD properties, utilizing superior communication skills and a positive attitude. Community Managers directly supervise the property’s on-site staff to ensure implementation of all corporate policies and procedures. Responsibilities include preparing accurate and timely reports detailing cash flow, budget variances, market studies, and business strategies. The role also involves assisting in developing annual budgets, managing expenses, and achieving company goals, including revenue, occupancy, and social programs. The Community Manager will work with the Regional Manager and corporate team to review and inspect all capital replacement plans, maintain detailed knowledge of the local market and competition, and develop tailored marketing plans. Additionally, the Community Manager will lead the on-site team in excellent customer service, review and monitor resident services activities, lead on-site staff in evictions and other routine legal matters, and ensure compliance with federal and state legal developments. The position requires ongoing process improvement, employee performance reviews, and regular site inspections to assure the marketability of the community.
